The 2006 Petit Verdot Remolinos Vineyard was aged for 16 months in new French oak. Purple/black in color, it has an expressive nose of pain grille, pencil lead, pepper, blackberry, plum, and licorice. Mouth-coating and powerful on the palate, this large-scaled effort demands 5-7 years of further cellaring.
