Perrin Les Sinards Chateauneuf du Pape
Description: Bright ruby-red. Black raspberry, licorice and smoky herbs on the perfumed nose and in the mouth. Fresh and energetic, with good focus and a spicy quality that builds with aeration. Closes sweet and long, with an echo of candied anise and smooth, harmonious tannins adding shape. Vinous 90pts. Wine & Spirits: This wine stood out among the 2011s we tasted for its vibrancy. It hits all the marks—earth, stone, herb and savory red fruit, held taut with a combination of bright acidity and sinewy tannins. It’s ready now, if you have an herbed pork loin coming out of the oven. 91pts. W&S.
