Ramey Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley
Description: Winemaker's Notes
In the eighth vintage of this appellation Cabernet blend, it is a combination of hillside and valley floor vineyard grapes. The style combines the harmony by traditional Bordelaise winemaking techniques with the volumptuousness gained from California's weather, especially in this perfect vintage.

Blend: 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot, 5% Malbec and 3% Petite Verdot

Critical Acclaim

Vinous / Antonio Galloni - "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Annum is deep, powerful and expressive, yet also has plenty of near and medium-term appeal. Iron, smoke and a host of ferrous notes wrap around a core of dark fruit, with gorgeous aromatic overtones from the inclusion of 25% Cabernet Franc. Wild flowers, pomegranate and floral/savory notes add tons of nuance on the bright, punchy finish. This is a fabulous, super-distinctive wine from David Ramey."
