| Description: |
The 2004 Al Lado de la Casa is sourced from a single parcel composed of 85% Monastrell, 10% Syrah, and 5% Tintorera. The wine was barrel fermented and raised in new French oak. Dark ruby-colored, the nose expresses nuances of pain grille, pepper, loamy earth, blueberry and a hint of raisins. This is followed by an intense, concentrated wine with a firm structure and lengthy finish. Cellar this attractive effort for 2-3 years and enjoy it through 2020. -90- Wine Advocate
