91 points Robert Parkers Wine Advocate
The 2016 Meursault 1er Cru Genevrières has a bit more gumption about it compared to the Porusot, delivering attractive smoked walnut and hazelnut aromas among the citrus fruit. The palate is concentrated on the entry with a more viscous texture than many Meursaults this vintage, lightly honeyed with a touch of mango and pineapple on the tropical tinged finish. I like the spiciness that lingers on the aftertaste and it should drink well once in bottle. |
