A rich and minerally red, compact at first, with flavors that expand slowly on the palate. Boasts black raspberry puree and ripe red currant fruit, with accents of orange peel, tarry smoke and iron, dark chocolate and a fragrant skein of ground white pepper and bay leaf. Though concentrated and full-bodied, with muscular and sculpted tannins, this is deftly knit and harmonious overall. Long, fresh finish. Garnacha and Samsó.
