Select wines up to 24 will be chosen for our one-day tasting and sale event exclusive at our West Des Moines store. Tasting starts at 3-6pm. Think of this event as a post Christmas savings event where selected wines have been marked down 30-40% off their regular retail price. Our WDM store has made a one-time special purchase of wines that are still great drinkers but just need to be moved out of the store before the new year!

Wine is meant to be shared - this is an opportunity we provide to invite our customers to bring into the store something that they would like for us and all those participating to try! So the price to participate is them bringing a bottle of something unique to share. The wine store may even provide some nibbles for those coming to munch on while we enjoy each other's company..and of course the wines!

And what better way to come to a decision than joining us for a sparkling wine and Champagne tasting? We are offering two flight options - the first for domestic sparkling wine and a second flight featuring non-vintage Champagne. A $10.00 Riedel Champagne flute purchase entitles you to the California flight with selections from Gloria Ferrar, Roederer Anderson Valley Estate, Domaine Carneros by Taittinger as an example. If you upgrade to a $20.00 Riedel Champagne flute purchase your glass purchase entitles you to four French NV Champagne selections. We will be deciding on the final selections by Friday, December 23rd. Taste all eight sparkling wines and NV Champagne for $25.00.

Limited seating for our inaugural Iowa wine event featuring an all-Iowa menu prepared by the Valley West Inn. Chef J. Lee of the West End Diner will be preparing a menu of pork chop, sauteed green beans, skin-on red potatoes and a salad. Six Iowa wines will be paired with the meal. Iowa wineries represented include Wide River Winery, Prairie Moon and Fireside Winery. What else do you plan on doing on Saturday afternoon on a holiday weekend in Iowa?
