Our 2019 Cabernet sauvignon comes from the Caldwell Vineyard., from vines planted in the 1980's. The site is in a collapsed volcano, with compressed ash and loam soil created a structure and texture that is quite old world in style. This wine is exquisitely nuanced in aroma, with herbal spices, mixed berries, cocoa, and peppers. On the palate it is vibrant in its youth but will allow more of the nuance to shine through time. |
