Dashe Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel
Description: Dark black-purple in color. This wine has an extremely aromatic bouquet of black raspberry, cassis, and chocolate overtones, with an underlying floral component of lavender and violets. Great balance of fruit with firm acidity, making for a great velvety yet structured wine. An intense Dry Creek zinfandel, with dark chocolate and black pepper spice underlying the higher-toned fruits.

International Wine Cellar - Bright, full red. Black raspberry, spices and black pepper are lifted by a floral note on the nose. Nicely delineated flavors of dark berries, pepper and spices display good cut and intensity and a welcome touch of sweetness. A bit unforgiving today, finishing with firm, dusty tannins and good spicy, chocolatey length. I'd give this another year in bottle before pulling the cork.
